Conjugate Geologic Services is a consulting company that was started by Byron Veilleux as the principal and sole owner of the company.
The company provides exploration and development consulting services. Structural interpretation services and advice is provided to clients throughout the globe. Play fairway analysis, including integrated stratigraphic, structural and basin modelling services are available to clients. Conjugate Geologic provides a variety of field and classroom based training courses in various aspects of hydrocarbon exploration and structural geology methods. |

1990 BSc Geology, University of Alberta
1993 Msc. Structural Geology, University of Alberta
1993 Joined Imperial oil. Worked on complex foothills structural trends, Regional fairway mapping of Carboniferous and Devonian Carbonates.
1997 Joined Petro Canada Worked on complex foothills structures and extensional environments in the Jeanne D’arc and Flemish Pass Basins. Successfully captured the Bay du Nord, Mizzen and Harpoon discoveries in the Flemish Pass.
2003 Joined Anadarko Petroleum. Play fairway analysis and prospect generation in complex structural trends.
2007 Joined Talisman Energy (merged with Repsol 2015). Complex structural interpretation in various structural environments. Play fairway and prospect generation in Canada, Peru, Colombia and Kurdistan. Obtained position of chief geologist and managed diverse group of geoscience and engineering specialists.
2018 Joined CNOOC International as Geologic advisor. Prospect generation and play fairway analysis in the Flemish Pass, Pre-salt Brazil and equatorial margins of Brazil, Suriname and Guyana.
